My second point applies to the fact that in "reality" all of us must cease to exist.

There are many ways for reality to force you and I out of existence, however, physical death is the most commonly recognized form. So I will use that. Here death will be defined as:
"when a certain body stops being able to perform the functions necessary to keep the mind in working order." (Again, that definition was brought to you by dictionary.com)

Death has always been a major problem for the human race. So much so that we often find ourselves chasing after false realities; things we decide are fact but are clearly uncertain. Things such as religions that guarantee eternal life, cryogenics, or myths such as the fountain of youth. We believe in these things simply to feel hope that we may not ever have to feel death's icy touch.

Without reality, there would be no death. Why should we listen to something that slows us down (friction), makes us come down (gravity), and eventually wears us down (time). It baffles me why a group of people, when subjected to a tyrannical ruler, will only tolerate oppression for so long but no one has rebelled against the greatest tyrant there has ever been! If you lived under the rule of a person who was slaughtering all of your loved ones you would not stand it for a week let alone your whole life! Wake up and smell the blood people!
